Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Accounting Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Irving, Texas, United States of America Job Description: The A&R SC Finance Controller will provide direct leadership to the Irving finance team at the manufacturing site, reporting into the E2E Senior Finance Manager. This role will partner with the site Plant Manager, site Leadership Team members, finance SFAs, and the global SC finance organizations to achieve short-term financial performance commitments and evaluate strategic long-term opportunities for the site. The Finance Manager will own site Business Planning & Actual Results and the periodic Forecast Update processes with business partners ensuring the reliability of the financial information and its timely submission and dissemination to all relevant stakeholders. They will partner with the site to provide insights on budget vs actual drivers, operational metrics, and frame results including the clear communication of risks and opportunities. The Finance Manager will also collaborate with the Global Services teams and other centralized organizations on the timely, complete, and accurate compliance with J&J standards, statutory requirements, and SOX controls. They will have direct responsibility to ensure all operations made in Irving are aligned with local payroll, legal, tax and accounting rules as well as with the J&J policies. The Finance Manager will advise management on the P&L, Balance Sheet, cashflow and compliance implications of operating decisions. Together with the E2E Senior Finance Manager, Product Management and Strategy & Deployment teams, they will propose/evaluate business cases (Capital, Investments, Site Master Plan). In collaboration with the site Leadership Team, the Finance Manager will play a key role in identifying, estimating/validating, tracking, and reporting on key investments and the related cost improvement savings. This role will identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial analytics & capabilities within the finance team and business partner support as well as support any IBP Planning, Inventory, and Global Services led process improvement and standardization initiatives including support to finance technology changes. Qualification : Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or business-related field. A MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certification is preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field is required. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial operations is preferred. Prior people management is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills is required. Supply Chain or Cost Accounting experience is required. Experience with SAP is preferred. This position will require up to 5% domestic travel. Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
