In the role you are the driving force behind accurate and timely performance reporting. In addition, you coordinate productivity reporting and play a key role in both investment planning and the flow of information to and from various managers. You work closely with different departments and ensure that financial objectives are aligned with operational strategies.

At our Broek op Langedijk plant, we have been dedicated for generations to producing the tastiest chips and snacks. Behind the iconic Lay’s and Cheetos brands is a close-knit team of around 260 colleagues who work together every day with enthusiasm, expertise, and a strong sense of teamwork. Responsibilities

Collaboration & Role Context

You will work as part of the BOL Leadership Team and collaborate with various departments across the organization. By providing insightful analyses, you will support decision-making processes, ensuring strong financial control while contributing to the plant’s continuity and overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a member of the plant finance team to analyze operational performance, providing clear insights and actionable reporting to support business decisions across the site.
• Serve as a member of the BOL Leadership Team, actively contributing to the development and implementation of the plant’s strategy. You will also act as a role model in the areas of safety, food safety, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization within the manufacturing environment.
• Take overall responsibility for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in close partnership with operational teams.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities within operational processes, and recommend corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Support investment evaluations and monitor cost developments related to New Product Developments (NPDs) and product modifications.

Qualifications

What Are We Looking For?

Strong analytical and financial skills, combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or business economics, will help you quickly settle into this role.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP is a strong advantage), as well as Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in data analysis, with the ability to translate large volumes of data into actionable insights and clear, data-driven conclusions.
• A results-oriented mindset, with a continuous focus on innovation and improvement within a dynamic environment.

In de rol van controller ben jij de drijvende kracht achter nauwkeurige en tijdige prestatierapporten. Daarnaast coördineer je productiviteitsrapporten en speel je een belangrijke rol in zowel de investeringplannen als in de informatiestomen van en naar verschillende managers. Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende afdelingen en zorgt ervoor dat financiële doelstellingen in lijn liggen met de operationele strategieën.

Op de fabriek in Broek op Langedijk zetten wij ons al generaties lang in voor de lekkerste chips en snacks. Achter de iconische merken Lays & Cheetos schuilt een hecht team van zo’n 260 collega’s dat elke dag met plezier en vakmanschap samenwerkt. Je werkt binnen het BOL Leadership Team en samen met verschillende afdelingen binnen de organisatie. Je ondersteunt besluitvorming met scherpe analyses. Zo borg je financiële controle en draag je bij aan continuïteit en performance van de plant.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Je werkt nauw samen met een collega binnen de plant finance organisatie om operationele prestaties te analyseren en deze te vertalen naar heldere rapportages voor stakeholders.
• Je maakt deel uit van het BOL Leadership Team, waarbij je actief bijdraagt aan het ontwikkelen en implementeren van de strategie. Daarnaast ben je een rolmodel op het gebied van veiligheid, voedselveiligheid en productiviteit en medewerkerstevredenheid.
• Actief meedenken over kostenbesparingen, efficiëntieverbeteringen en procesoptimalisatie binnen de productieomgeving.
• Eindverantwoordelijk voor financiële rapportages, het opstellen van budgetten, forecasts en performanceanalyses in samenwerking met operationele teams
• Identificeren van financiële risico's en kansen binnen de operationele processen en het aandragen van verbetermaatregelen.
• Ondersteunen bij investeringsanalyses en kostenontwikkelingen rondom NPDs en productwijzigingen.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

Het hebben van sterke analytische en financiële vaardigheden en relevante werkervaring van minimaal 3 jaar in een financieel of bedrijfseconomisch richting zorgt dat je snel op je plek bent binnen deze rol.

• Je beschikt over een vloeiende beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal
• Je hebt ervaring met ERP systemen (SAP is een pre), MS Office, Word, PowerPoint.
• Je bent gevorderd gebruiker van Excel
• Je hebt een probleemoplossend vermogen
• Je beschikt over communicatieve vaardigheden, leiderschap en het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen
• Je hebt ervaring in data-analyse en het vertalen van grote hoeveelheden gegevens naar meetbare informatie voor snelle en doelgerichte conclusies
• Je hebt een resultaatgerichte instelling en de mentaliteit om te blijven innoveren en te verbeteren in een dynamische omgeving
