Micro-Tronics, Inc. is a precision aerospace manufacturing company committed to operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement. As part of the Mechanical segment of Arxis, we are seeking an experienced Site Controller to serve as the financial leader for the business unit.

Position Summary

The Site Controller will serve as the financial lead for the Micro-Tronics business unit, which is part of a Division in the Mechanical segment of Arxis (NASDAQ: ARXS). Acting as a key business partner to the Site Co-General Managers, with a matrixed reporting relationship to the Division Vice President of Finance. This role is responsible not only for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance but also for collaborating with Site and Divisional leadership to inform and drive strategic decision-making, operational performance, and profitable growth. This position is ideal for someone who wants to influence business outcomes, develop talent, and partner with operations and leadership in a rapid growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Serve as the financial leader for the site and partner closely with Site Co-General Managers and the Division Vice President of Finance.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support business objectives and profitable growth.
• Translate financial data into actionable recommendations that improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
• Develop, monitor, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership. 

 Accounting & Compliance

• Oversee all accounting activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure financial reporting accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
• Support public company financial reporting activities.
• Manage inventory accounting and cost analysis activities.
• Partner with Operations and Site Leadership on cycle counts and annual physical inventories. 

 Business Partnership

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Quality, and Sales teams.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations related to pricing, product mix, capital investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by balancing financial discipline with strategic growth initiatives. 

 Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
• Champion collaboration and communication across departments and with the divisional finance organization.
• Support and promote the company's culture and values. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Budget and forecast accuracy.
• Inventory accuracy and cost control.
• Compliance with SOX and internal controls.
• Cash flow and profitability performance.
• Successful completion of audits and regulatory requirements.
• Development and engagement of finance team members.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
• Experience leading and developing team members.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Infor Syteline is a plus.
• Public company experience and demonstrated success in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley is a plus. 

Education and Job History Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis required.
