Accumulate Financial Data and provide meaningful reports for Management and the Board, including identifying trends and analyzing financial information to uncover inefficiencies. Continually monitor costs and profitability information creating useful analysis and reports to the CFO.

Assist CFO in developing and improving Branch Accounting reports and assessments on Branch profitability. Assist in developing and implementing Activity Based Costing.

Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries, accounting classifications, and reconciliations assigned to various records, including Safe Keeping. Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly general ledger entries and reconciliations to close month, quarter, and year.

Manage Credit Cards in controls, and procedures, oversite of ordering new stock, and proper expensing, including management of Corporate Cards.

Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports. Works with auditor/examiners on year-end, internal, and comprehensive audits.

Assist the CFO to prepare 5300 Call Report and Yearly budget.

Experience

Five to ten years of similar or related experience

Education

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills

Must have good communication and leadership skills for training other accounting employees. Able to operate an adding machine, keyboard, and computer as well as various computer applications including Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel and Outlook. Accurate with numbers and names. Must have knowledge of GAAP, financial statements and general ledgers.
