Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are hiring a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support accounting operations, focusing on billing, customer accounts, and payment tracking. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong accounting and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile customer accounts and payments
- Create and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders
- Follow up on past-due accounts and resolve billing issues
- Maintain accurate financial records and account updates
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting
- Support basic accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Accounting or Business degree
- Experience in previous AR roles
- CAPP certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-focused
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Part-time, 25 hours per week (onsite, M-F 9 AM- 2 PM)
