Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for processing payments, maintaining accurate aging, maintaining overdue accounts, and taking a collaborative approach to solving customer discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is accurate
- Verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are applied correctly
- Resolve discrepancies between customer payments and invoices
- Work with other departments to resolve billing issues or disputes
- Reconcile customer accounts as needed
- Work closely with collection agency; maintain accurate records relating to collections
- Collections and follow-up, contact clients with past-due accounts
- Assist with month end and year end projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to account receivable activities
Working Conditions
- Full-Time
- Remote/In-Office/Hybrid work environment
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged computer and phone use
- Work is primarily performed during standard business hours, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years accounts receivable experience
- High attention to detail, clear communicator, excellent customer service skills
- Strong aptitude to learn and remain flexible to specific industry concerns
- Strong collaborative and team skills
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Netsuite
