HornBill's Port Washington, New York (NY) client from the non-profit industry is seeking a temporary Senior Accountant. Summary: Main responsibilities for this role will include posting journal entries to the general ledger, assisting with the monthly closings, and bank reconciliations. They will be responsible for preparation and review of the financial statements, bank reconciliations, general ledger, AP/AR functions and journal entries.
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- Minimal 5 years of experience, and a full understanding of all general accounting functions
- Non-profit industry is a plus, as well as an understanding with the software AccuFund
- Intermediate Excel skills are required
- Individuals should not be allergic to animals and not mind a work environment with animals in the vicinity on a day to day basis
