HornBill's client in Tysons Corner, Virginia (VA) is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. Will be responsible for:
- Performing monthly closing activities in PeopleSoft
- Developing and maintaining allocation methodologies on charges to subsidiaries
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries for accuracy
- Performing and reviewing required balance sheet reconciliations
- Conducting financial statement analysis of accounting transactions and balances
- Assisting with the preparation and detail analysis of both external and internal reports on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Conducting reviews and implementing the changes for new accounting pronouncements and regulatory orders
- Working with the external auditors during audits
- Preparing information for the initial filing of rate case data and responds to data requests
- CPA required
- Big 4 strongly preferred
