HornBill has a client in search of a Senior Staff Accountant in McLean, Virginia (VA). Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who will be responsible for assisting with monthly/quarterly account transaction closing, preparing financial statements, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly financial packages, preparing balance sheets, monitoring cash flow for each property in portfolio for weekly cash management reports, preparing lender draw packages, assisting in schedule preparation, and preparing year- end audit.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or someone actively pursuing their CPA preferred
- Real Estate industry experience
- MRI or Yardi experience required
