What You’ll Do

Accounts Payable 

• Receive, review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies 

• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation 

• Enter invoice data into accounting systems and process payments, including checks, wire transfers and electronic payments 

• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation 

Accounts Receivable 

• Record and apply customer payments to appropriate accounts 

• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies 

• Communicate with customers regarding overdue balances and collection efforts 

• Prepare aging reports and receivables metrics to support decision-making 

General Accounting 

• Record business transactions, charges and refunds 

• Enter daily worksheets into the general ledger system 

• Assist with month-end closing processes and report preparation 

• Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets to compile, analyze and extract financial data 

Customer & Vendor Relations 

• Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, vendors and internal departments 

• Research and resolve discrepancies, concerns and unusual data 

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal customers 

• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting financial operations 

What We're Looking For

Required Experience 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account management or related accounting experience 

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required 

• Experience using accounting software and financial systems 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile account discrepancies accurately 

Education 

• High school diploma or GED required
