Accounting Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all data entry on accounts payable, reconcile vendor statements, print payable checks and prepare for approval
• Enter any payments from cash customers and Net10 customers and follow up with customers to ensure accounts are timely paid
• Back up receptionist as needed to ensure their location has a high level of customer service
• File and maintain organized records
• Assist the accounting managers with any other administration functions needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

An Associates of Business Administration with a major of accounting.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and vendors.
• Complete knowledge of in house business systems and along with other partner systems.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service to management
• Ability to work independently and to have an eye on internal controls and keeping assets of the company safe.
• Must be able to prioritize and keep all areas of responsibility up to date

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
