We are a Skilled Trades Provider for the Construction Industry. We work with the largest and smallest contractors in the state of Florida, assisting with their manpower needs. We offer a fast-paced position with growth potential in our branch located in Tampa Florida.

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our payroll and accounting team! You will assist in our weekly payroll process, expense reports, accounting functions and general bookkeeping for our company. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and have a background in accounting.

Hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Data Entry – Maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Filling and organizing sensitive documentation.
• Accounts Payable: Reviews, codes, and processes vendor invoices for payment.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements.
• Completing vendor, client, and internal requests in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for management.
• Ad Hoc reporting.

Qualifications:

• A.A. in accounting or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Deadline driven with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Sage 50 or similar system preferred.
• Deep knowledge of excel and other Microsoft applications.
• Proficient reading and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Physical Capabilities:

• Filing function may require standing, bending and lifting of up to 20 pounds.
