Accountant

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $36.10hr - $41.10hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Oracle Netsuite Experience.
• GL Accounting Experience.
• Experience with Journal Entries (JE) and Reconciliations (Recon).
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of Accounting Experience.
• Excellent personal computer skills including spreadsheet and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive and implement change.
• Ability to learn business operations in a short timeframe.

Responsibilities:

• Develop policies and procedures and process journal entries and accruals for a remote business unit.
• Work to automate, streamline, and eliminate journal entries.
• Provide business unit balance sheet oversight including the preparation of monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the underlying accounting systems utilized.
• Interface with various levels of employees within the finance team, operations personnel, and the IT team.
• Perform full charge bookkeeping including A/R and A/P activities.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries for review.
• Perform monthly GL and account reconciliation.
• Coordinate across multiple departments.
• Reconcile balance sheets and create reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Post monthly accrual journal entries and depreciation.
• Perform financial reporting, prepare supporting schedules, and analyze data.

Nice to Have:

• Oracle and SAP Experience.
• Oracle and SAP applications experience is a plus.

Qualification And Education:

• BS in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player successful in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
