Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable accounting professional to support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain timely reporting, complete reconciliations, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including account analysis and variance explanations.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash application processes as needed.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits and internal review.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and supporting analyses for management.
• Monitor account activity to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred, including general ledger and reconciliation work.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
