Overview

ANDERSEN is seeking an experienced Accountant to support its Corporate Accounting team through monthly close activities, statutory compliance, legal entity management, and ERP transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly visible global accounting organization while developing both technical accounting and program management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes.
• Prepare compliance metrics and other financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with financial statement backlog reduction initiatives.
• Create journal entries, run trial balances, review financial statements, and perform controllership activities.
• Manage assigned legal entities through termination, liquidation, and system inactivation.
• Support ERP transformation and SAP S/4HANA migration activities, including data validation, UAT testing, reconciliations, and go-live readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, accounting, and operational teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounting and compliance-related deliverables.

Required Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2+ years of accounting or finance experience;

·      OR master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 1+ year of accounting or finance experience.

Preferred Experience and Skills

·      CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred.

·      Experience supporting ERP implementations, migrations, or transformation initiatives.

·      Experience with global subsidiary accounting and compliance programs.

·      Project management or program coordination experience.

·      Experience with legal entity management, liquidation, or entity rationalization programs.

·      Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.

·      Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

·      Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting or finance experience and combines strong corporate accounting close expertise with experience supporting ERP systems and SAP environments. They have worked with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, participated in ERP migration or transformation initiatives, and understand the financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliation processes that support a global organization. In addition to solid accounting fundamentals, they bring project management skills, are comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders, and can successfully balance recurring close activities with project-based deliverables. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
