Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support trust accounting operations and general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes. The ideal candidate will also assist with month and year-end closing, reporting, account and variance analysis, and ensuring accuracy and completeness across all accounting functions.What You’ll Do:As a Finance and Accounting Analyst, your role will consist of supporting trust accounting, accounting analysis, acquisition finance and accounting support. You’ll also be responsible for:• Assisting with trust accounting and supporting monthly closing processes.• Preparing Journal entries and performing account reconciliations.• Processing wire transfers and distributions under supervision.• Completing and reviewing journal entries and supporting documentation.• Reviewing general ledger activity for completeness and accuracy.• Analyzing historical financial statements and operating results of acquisition prospects.
