Description

About Calibrant Energy

Calibrant is a leading provider of on-site energy solutions. Calibrant develops, owns, and operates large-scale solar, battery storage, and microgrids on behalf of our customers — empowering North America's largest power users to achieve their energy goals faster, more economically, and more sustainably.

By combining innovative financing with deep industry expertise, we solve complex energy challenges for large organizations. Our performance-based, no-capex contracts ensure we only get paid when we deliver results — enabling organizations to share in cost savings without any upfront investment.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant is a core member of Calibrant's accounting team, responsible for the accurate and timely execution of day-to-day accounting operations: journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and customer invoicing support. This role is central to delivering a clean, on-time monthly close, and works directly with our external auditors on the schedules and workpapers that support it.

You will work in a multi-entity NetSuite OneWorld environment with an automated AP workflow, on a team that is actively modernizing how the function operates. Calibrant is an AI-forward company: we expect our accountants to use modern automation and AI tooling to eliminate manual effort, and we invest in the systems that make that possible. This is a hands-on, high-visibility seat with a defined path forward for people who perform.

We are looking for someone precise, organized, and genuinely curious — a person who not only clears their assigned reconciliations but asks why the difference was there in the first place.
