Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst in Columbus, Indiana. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting financial reporting, including regulatory reporting for the Credit Union. This position provides informed advice to management regarding financial risk and performance. The position will play a role in internal projects which require financial analysis and will be expected to advance initiatives within the Finance area.

Essential Functions: This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform. 

• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly financial performance analyses. Gathers and aggregates financial information for review by Director Finance. Distributes reviewed analyses to other relevant members of management and Centra Team, using experience and knowledge to place findings of the analysis in appropriate context.
• Works with internal partners to gather peer data for the purposes of analyzing performance and evaluating proper pricing actions
• Supports the Director Finance in assessments of financial risk to the organization of various strategies and potential new initiatives; collaborating with third-party partners, other Team Members and Management to convey impact.  
• Supports profitability measurement across all levels (branch, cost center, product, & Member).  
• Assists with regulatory reporting, including the Call Report, CECL, Public Funds, and Blanket Collateral quarterly submissions. 
• Supports the annual budgeting process, collaborating with Team Members across the organization to project financial performance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED): 

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field

• Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
