Senior Financial Analyst, Data and Analytics

Job Description

Reporting to the Manager of Finance Data & Analytics within the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Senior Analyst, Finance Data & Analytics will support Conagra’s finance transformation initiatives by developing modern reporting solutions, automating financial processes, and building analytical tools that improve decision-making across the organization.
This role combines financial knowledge with technical capabilities to create scalable reporting, streamline workflows, and enhance the efficiency of financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data, automation, and analytics to solve business problems and improve the finance organization’s capabilities

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a business partner for assigned functions on accounting and finance-related matters, identifying risks, opportunities, and business needs while communicating results effectively.
• Participate in the preparation and compilation of the Annual Operating Plan and strategic plan for assigned areas of the profit and loss statement and related balance sheet accounts.
• Update monthly forecasts based on business changes and provide actionable, forward-looking commentary regarding performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close activities, including the identification and resolution of unusual items and issues.
• Develop comprehensive financial analyses and models to support productivity initiatives, cost savings opportunities, inflation analysis, absorption analysis, and other strategic business requests.
• Support project work across multiple financial disciplines, including financial planning and analysis, innovation costs, procurement strategies, manufacturing investments, and pricing support.
• Lead the development of metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting tools for assigned functions.
• Evaluate and deliver periodic financial metrics, scorecards, and reporting packages for leadership.
• Provide financial planning and analysis support as needed.
• Participate in and lead finance-related projects based on business priorities.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• MBA or CPA/CMA certification a plus
• Minimum 5 years of professional general business, supply chain or financial experience
• Proven ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
• Background and experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
• Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships.
• Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions.

Compensation

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
