Right Price.Job Title: FP&A Analyst Duration: 12 Months Contract Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Pay Rate: $58/hr on W2Position Summary This is a wide-ranging opportunity for a finance professional to gain broad experience across FP&A disciplines in a high-growth environment. The role will support insightful reporting and analytics that influence business decision-making, assist in developing financial models for key and new business concepts, partnerships, and acquisitions, and assess their impact on overall business performance and profitability. This position is part of the Finance department at client, whose vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.Essential Job Responsibilities · Financial Planning & Analysis: Evaluate results versus plan, drive variance analysis, and partner with Marketing business leaders to execute against financial plans. · Analyze historical, current, and projected financial data for planning, forecasting, and management decision-making. · FP&A Close & Forecasting: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end FP&A close activities, including preparation of journal entries. · Support forecast activities related to headcount and operating expenses. · Business Partnership & Forecast Management: Establish a regular cadence with business partners to review monthly actuals, analyze forecast variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve forecast execution and accuracy. · Accounting & Controls: Apply knowledge of standard accounting principles and policies while interacting with global accounting and financial partners to maintain proper financial processes, procedures, and controls. · Financial Systems & Reporting: Review purchase requisitions in iBuy to validate proper funding and accuracy of GL accounts and cost centers. · Support improvements to existing reporting and budget processes through the utilization of new systems, tools, and techniques. · Documentation & Ad Hoc Analysis: Help create finance process documentation, training guides, and resources. · Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis requested by Executive Management and department leaders to support the business.Qualifications · Education: B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent. · Experience: 5+ years of relevant Financial Planning & Analysis experience. · Financial Analysis: Proficient data analysis skills with prior experience performing financial and ad hoc analyses using database and financial reporting tools. · Excel: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and lookups. · Systems: Strong systems acumen, with preference for experience with SAP and/or Business Intelligence (BI) tools. · Accounting: Understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. · Analytical Skills: Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to develop new ideas into effective end results. · Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and financial partners. · Problem Solving: Logical problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. · Work Environment: Self-motivated and comfortable managing shifting priorities, achieving effective results within tight deadlines, and working across diverse and fast-paced assignments.Why Work with Us?
