Senior Finance / Accounting Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Seniorverse (50% of Time)
  • Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze revenue scenarios, pricing strategies, customer growth, and cost structures
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure strong financial controls
  • Support fundraising efforts by providing financial insights, investor reports, and pro forma projections
  • Work closely with the leadership team to provide financial strategy recommendations based on data-driven insights
• BGB Motorsports (50% of Time)
  • Restructure and modernize BGB’s financial processes, ensuring financial data is well-organized and compliant
  • Overhaul the chart of accounts and ensure that financial records accurately reflect business activities
  • Review and correct past financial data, reconciling inconsistencies and ensuring clean records
  • Implement expense reimbursement policies, ensuring compliance and transparency
  • Streamline invoicing and accounts receivable processes to improve cash flow management
  • Establish best practices for financial reporting, ensuring that key financial data is available for decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations
• Strong financial modeling skills, with experience analyzing multiple business scenarios
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in a business setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop financial strategies for a growing company
• Hands-on experience with accounting software required; experience working with Xero highly preferred
• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally with teams in finance, operations, and leadership
• Experience working in a startup or small business environment highly preferred
• Prior work with capital fundraising, investor relations, or financial modeling for early-stage companies preferred

Work Environment & Location

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary of $75,000 - $95,000, based on experience
