Senior Accountant

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial activities of the organization. This position involves overseeing financial transactions, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial data.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide management with accurate and timely financial information. 
• Develop annual budgets in collaboration with the General Managers and the President.
• Collaborates with the General Managers and President on all financial related activities of the organization. 
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. 
• Ensure new & used financed inventory payoffs are processed within expected timeframes.
• Payroll processing activities, including employee compensation, and benefits administration assistance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and prepare required tax filings and reports. 
• Work with external auditors during financial audits, providing requested documentation and supporting scheduled to facilitate the audit process. 
• Assists with annual business insurance renewal, files insurance claims, and ensures overall business insurance needs are met.
• Complete monthly financial 20 Group reporting.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive or RV dealership industry.
