We are looking for a passionate Senior Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting team and help us shape the next 100 years of Mariani!

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the Company’s lease accounting, fixed asset accounting and management, and Coast to Coast accounting activities.

• Analyze: Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial results.

• Manage: Fixed asset accounting, lease accounting under ASC 842, month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities, and financial reporting for Coast-to-Coast Farming.

• Lead: Coordinate internal and external audit activities, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure accounting processes comply with established requirements.
• Innovate: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting and financial reporting, while supporting and optimizing NetSuite functionality.

What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven ability to lead process improvements, implement best practices, and build cross-functional partnerships
• A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
