Location: 100% remote (hybrid schedule available for local candidates)
Schedule: M-F 40 hrs / week *EST* schedule
Contract Type: Temp Only
Reason for opening: LOA Coverage, 12 weeks
Target start: October 19, 2026 for at least 1 month of overlap training
Job Description:
Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory accounting principles (SAP), preparing regulatory reporting statements, and maintaining accurate financial records in line with insurance industry standards. The Senior Statutory Accountant will play a key role in preparing monthly GAAP and STAT journal entries, statutory financial statements, and supporting audits and regulatory filings.
This role requires a strong understanding of statutory accounting within the health insurance industry, along with the ability to analyze financial data, ensure compliance, and collaborate across teams.
