Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant Grand Island, Nebraska | Full-time Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Grand Island office. If you enjoy variety, want to build your skills in both audit and tax, and value getting to know the people behind the numbers, you’ll find room to grow here. You’ll work with nonprofit, governmental, and commercial clients across multiple engagements. You’ll be part of audit teams, prepare financial statements and tax returns, assist with other accounting services, and build relationships with clients along the way. What you’ll do Work on audit and tax engagements, often with several projects underway at once Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other client deliverables Research accounting and tax questions and communicate findings clearly Develop your audit, tax planning, preparation, and review skills Build client relationships and take on more responsibility as you grow What you’ll bring A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field Approximately two to four years of recent audit or tax experience in public accounting An active CPA license or progress toward becoming a CPA Strong analytical, research, communication, and organizational skills The ability to manage deadlines across multiple engagements and work professionally with clients Why DFC We’re a firm with more than 100 years of history and offices across the Midwest.
