- Process weekly union payroll for all employees using Dayforce, in accordance with our Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Audit and reconcile timekeeping information accurately.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records relating to schedules, shift rotations, pay policies, work assignments, work locations, etc.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve and reply to all payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations as well as garnishments and union dues.
- Process special payroll requests such as raises, bonuses, retroactive pay, and adjustments.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly payroll reports as well as ad-hoc reporting for management and internal/external audits.
- Sort and distribute live payroll checks for pick-up by center representatives.
- Collaboration in the office is an essential job function, for effective communication and cross training.
- Coordinate with HR on employee status changes, benefits, and other payroll-related matters.
- Maintain employee route assignment system of record.
- Support HR and Operations in educating employees on payroll processes and Dayforce system usage.
- General office duties as needed.
