Payroll Coordinator

Job Description

MileOne Autogroup, one of the largest automotive groups in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a highly motivated person to work on-site at the corporate office in Towson, MD. This individual will support the HR team on executing various HR functions which include reporting and auditing, compliance and onboarding follow-up, recruiting admin tasks, and other various HR duties.

The right individual will be a self-starter with a track record of success in data analysis, attention to detail, multi-tasking while ensuring excellent customer service is provided to our employees in managing their experience with MileOne.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct audits of various business processes, payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with employee follow up in relation to time keeping, compliance tasks and pending business processes
• Support the administrative responsibilities associated with the recruiting process for an assigned region
• Analyze, verify and input payroll data during processing including but not limited to hours, compensation, benefit deductions, tax withholding, etc.
• Complete job change functions, daily tasks and projects within the Workday system
• Assist adhering to compliance and regulatory processes and follow-up with employee base
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
• Maintain current knowledge of all company benefits programs and Health and Welfare programs, including Health and Dental Insurance, Life and Disability Insurance, Retirement Savings, Voluntary Benefits Programs.
• Assist with any other projects assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

• 1- 3 years of office administration, payroll, accounting, HR, or related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, and spreadsheets).
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
• Proficient in data analysis and managing large volumes of data
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
