This position is part time in our office in Vineland New Jersey. The person in this role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day HR administration, supporting employees and managers, and ensuring timely completion of employment-related processes.

Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and the outsourced HR partner.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities via our dedicated HCM system.
- Complete Form I-9 verification in accordance with federal requirements.
- Initiate pre-employment background screenings and monitor completion.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure required documentation is completed.
- Coordinate employee leave requests including FMLA, NJFLA, ADA accommodations, Paid Family Leave, and other applicable leave programs.
- Communicate with the outsourced HR team regarding leave eligibility, documentation, and administration.
- Assist managers and employees with HR-related questions and direct complex matters to the outsourced HR team for support and coaching.
- Work with our HR Partner to ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Escalate employee relations matters to management and the outsourced HR partner as appropriate.
- Review employee time records for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate time and attendance corrections with supervisors.
- Submit payroll-related information to the outsourced payroll provider.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, or HR Administrative experience.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, policies and procedures
- Knowledge of federal, state employment laws and regulations related to employment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience supporting managers and employees in a multi-department environment.
Technical skills:
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of HRIS, Time/Attendance and Electronic Recordkeeping systems; must work well in a technology driven environment as we are transitioning to a paperless environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related field, preferred
- Two or more years of relevant HR experience
- Direct employee relations experience
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), preferred
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position (approximately 24-30 hours per week) with flexibility based on business needs.
