About the Role

Pinnacle Partners is recruiting for a Corporate Accounting Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in downtown Indianapolis. This role will oversee key corporate accounting functions with a heavy focus on property transactions, fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting.

The Corporate Accounting Manager will supervise a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, work closely with auditors and senior accounting leadership, and partner with departments across the organization. The position is onsite initially, with the opportunity to move to four days onsite and one day remote once established.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage fixed asset accounting, including lease and marketing accounting, accruals, and employee benefits accounting and reporting.

Prepare schedules and reporting for the parent company in an environment with public-company-level reporting requirements.

Evaluate new leases and ensure lease compliance across 175+ facilities.

Assign work to and review the work of the Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant.

Work closely with auditors and serve as a key partner to senior accounting leadership.

Collaborate with marketing, maintenance, operations, and other departments.

Oversee asset management and lease accounting systems, including creating and modifying reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

5+ years of accounting experience; a mix of public and corporate accounting experience is preferred. Strong public accounting management experience may be considered with fewer than five years.

Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.

Proficient Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and SUMIFs.

Ability to learn new financial systems and reporting tools.

Preferred:

CPA or actively working toward CPA certification.

PeopleSoft experience or experience with a similar ERP system.

Experience with or interest in AI tools.

Benefits Overview:

$100,000-$120,000 salary range.
