Client Accounting Manager

HornBill has a client in search of a Client Accounting Manager in Boston, Massachusetts (MA). Essential Functions:

• Direct day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage and lead internal client teams
• Communicate with advisors on behalf of clients
• Prepare financial statements and other client deliverables
• Oversee the accounts payable and payroll administration processes
• Coordinate tax preparation and planning services
• Responsible for profitability of client relationships
• Implement client management policies and procedures
• Prepare and execute client service plans
• Complete special projects
• Supervise 3-5 staff members
• Attend networking and marketing events

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Advanced designation such as CFP or CPA
• 7+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial services
• Public accounting or administrative family office experience
• Understanding of personal financial planning
• Direct client interaction experience
• Management and/or supervisory experience
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Quicken or similar accounting software
• Strong communication skills
