Corrado Properties is an owner, operator, and developer of independent, boutique luxury hotels, resorts, and thoughtfully selected real estate assets. Our current portfolio includes Sorrel River Ranch in Moab, Utah, and BIBA Social Club, Hotel & Restaurants in West Palm Beach, Florida, with additional projects under development.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team and support the financial operations of our properties.
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable process across Corrado Properties and its portfolio of hospitality and real estate assets.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working with a variety of vendors, property teams, invoices, and expense categories. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and accuracy.
Code expenses to the appropriate property, department, and general ledger account.
Process vendor payments through ACH, checks, and other approved payment methods.
Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation, including W-9s and payment information.
Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payment status, and account questions.
Work closely with property management, operations, purchasing, and accounting teams.
Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure payments are processed according to established deadlines.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare AP reports and provide supporting documentation as requested.
Assist with property-level expense tracking and financial reporting.
Maintain organized and accurate AP records.
Support internal and external audits as needed.
Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality of company and financial information.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience.
Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or real estate accounting experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple properties, vendors, and competing deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Professional, dependable, and proactive approach to work.
Experience working in a growing or entrepreneurial organization is a plus.
