Woodmont Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Accounting team. This role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments, supporting month-end close activities, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

What You'll Do
- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
- Review invoices for proper coding and compliance with company policies.
- Enter invoices into accounting systems including Intacct, Timberline, and Yardi.
- Monitor open payables and assist with invoice aging and payment processing.
- Follow up with approvers to ensure timely invoice approvals.
- Process utility invoices and recurring vendor payments.
- Coordinate weekly purchase order reviews and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Process demand checks and urgent payment requests.
- Assist with month-end close activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and accounting support tasks.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Assist with annual 1099 preparation.
- Participate in process improvements and special projects.
Qualifications
Required
- 3 to 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with Intacct, Timberline, and/or Yardi.
- Real estate industry accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.Ā
