Accounts Payable Clerk

Ampla Health is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounts payable operations. This position is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, performing reconciliations, and ensuring timely, accurate payments while supporting the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process invoices for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate departments.
• Prepare checks, payment documentation, and month-end accounts payable activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain organized financial records.
• Generate reports, analyze accounts payable data, and assist with audits.
• Support special financial projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, completion of at least 8 accounting units, or equivalent accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships.
• Knowledge of accounting software and internal controls preferred.
