What You’ll Do

• Receive, review and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies 

• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation 

• Process accounts payable transactions, including checks, wire transfers and electronic payments 

• Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions 

• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate financial records 

• Research and resolve discrepancies involving invoices, payments and account balances 

• Enter financial data into accounting systems and general ledger applications 

• Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting 

• Generate reports and compile financial data using accounting software and spreadsheets 

• Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, vendors and internal teams 

What We’re Looking For  

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, account management or related accounting experience required 

• Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 applications 

• High school diploma or GED required 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 

• Effective communication and customer service skills 

• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

Work Schedule & Location 

Primary location: Lansing, MI 
Regular schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. 
Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt
