Functioning under the administrative direction from the supervisor, this position assists with and supports the coordination management and preparation of the business/financial and administrative operations of the University of Illinois Physicians Group (UIPG)/Medical Service Plan (MSP), to facilitate revenue generation and to control costs.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications Required:

    1. Bachelor's degree with a major in Accountancy or a related field AND two (2) years of professional level accounting experience.
      OR
    2. Possession of current registration as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant, or a valid license to practice Public Accounting (LPA).
      OR
    3. Master's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. High Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or other similar presentation software.
  2. Effective project management and time management skills.
  3. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  4. Ability to learn and utilize new software applications for data reporting and analysis.
  5. Analytical problem solving skills with attention to details.
  6. Ability to interpret Policy and Procedures and apply the interpretation to daily projects.
