Treasury Accounting Analyst

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a consumer services organization to identify a Treasury Accounting Specialist in the Dallas, TX area. This is a direct-hire, onsite opportunity supporting daily cash management, treasury transactions, general ledger activity, and related accounting operations.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is highly accurate, organized, and comfortable working with daily cash activity and financial transactions. The right candidate has hands-on Microsoft Great Plains experience and can effectively manage time-sensitive responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Required:

• Hands-on Microsoft Great Plains (GP) experience

• Accounting, finance, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience

• Experience with cash transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, or general ledger activity

• Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive transactions and responsibilities

Preferred:

• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience with an Accounting or Finance degree

• Experience processing domestic or international wire transfers and other treasury transactions

• Experience with intercompany accounting or transactions across multiple business entities

• Background working within a larger, multi-entity organization

• Exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, or audit support
