We are looking for someone with statutory accounting experience to serve as the "quarterback" for the financial reporting team. Own the relationship with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the various state regulatory bodies. Coordinate various statutory filings for the various legal entities ensuring consistency and standardization. Serve as the subject matter expert for evaluating the applicability of current and upcoming statutory guidance. Review financial statements for statutory entities and provide coaching and mentoring to the accountants performing preparation of such statements. Join the leadership team in evaluating finance transformation efforts across the organization focusing on process improvements and implementation of new technologies.
