Staff Accountant

We're partnering with a growing Omaha company that's looking to add a Staff Accountant to its Accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of accounting experience who wants to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting while working alongside an experienced team that's invested in your development.

Job Responsibilities

This role offers the opportunity to build a well-rounded accounting foundation while gaining exposure to a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Playing a key role in the month-end close process through journal entries and account reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• Analyzing financial results and researching variances to help deliver accurate financial information to leadership
• Assisting with audit requests, internal controls, and other accounting projects as the business continues to grow
• Contributing ideas that help streamline processes and improve the efficiency of the accounting team

Candidate Qualifications

This opportunity is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys learning, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work. We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in either public accounting or private industry
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative, curious mindset and a genuine desire to continue growing professionally
