Responsibilities
Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Compensation Analyst serves as a key member of the Total Rewards team, supporting the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs that drive attraction, retention, and employee engagement. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation recommendations and market insights while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
The role is responsible for market pricing, compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, annual compensation planning, salary structure administration, compensation analytics, and compensation governance across U.S. and international operations as applicable.
Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Lead and support the annual compensation planning process, including merit, bonus, and incentive programs.
- Conduct market pricing and benchmarking analyses using Radford and other compensation survey sources.
- Lead participation in annual compensation surveys, including job matching, data validation, survey submissions, and market analysis.
- Develop recommendations for salary structures, pay ranges, and compensation programs based on market data and business needs.
- Evaluate and level positions using established job architecture and career framework methodologies.
- Maintain job families, career levels, and compensation structures to support organizational consistency.
- Analyze internal pay equity and compensation trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders on offers, promotions, transfers, and market adjustments.
- Support executive-level compensation reporting and presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with applicable compensation regulations and policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance compensation program effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- 4-5 years of progressive compensation experience, consulting, or a similar role.
- Experience with market pricing, salary structures, compensation analytics, and annual compensation planning.
- Experience participating in compensation surveys and benchmarking activities.
The Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)
While not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out:
- CCP designation preferred.
- Experience with ADP, Pave, Radford, Workday, or similar HR technology platforms.
- Experience supporting global compensation programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and compensation analysis tools.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations and reporting.
- Knowledge of compensation laws and regulations (FLSA, Equal Pay Act, etc.)
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
- Ability to understand complex and disparate data in order to create a succinct, meaningful story of its meaning

- The role primarily involves sitting for extended periods while working on computers or attending meetings
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and manipulating documents or spreadsheets
- Must have the ability to view and analyze data on a computer screen for extended periods, with clear focus and attention to detail
- Requires clear verbal communication skills for phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person discussions
- Occasional walking, standing, or light lifting (e.g., carrying documents or small office supplies)

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $98,000 to $115,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.
