Financial Analyst

Dart Transit Group is seeking a curious, analytical, and forward-thinking Financial Strategy Analyst to help drive business performance through data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will partner with leaders across operations, sales, recruiting, maintenance, and technology to identify opportunities, evaluate investments, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

Strategic Financial Analysis

• Analyze revenue, margin, and profitability trends across business segments.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate growth opportunities, operational changes, and capital investments.
• Identify risks and opportunities that impact financial performance.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for key initiatives.

Business Partnership

• Work directly with leaders across the organization to understand challenges and identify solutions.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations.
• Develop KPI dashboards and performance metrics that help leaders make better decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

Data & Technology

• Leverage data analysis tools to uncover trends and business insights.
• Explore opportunities to automate reporting and decision-support processes.
• Stay current on AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies that can improve productivity and decision-making.
• Help evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions that create measurable business value.

Continuous Improvement

• Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Support cross-functional projects focused on growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand how businesses operate.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Exposure to financial modeling, business analytics, consulting, operations analysis, or corporate strategy.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or other emerging technologies.
• Experience building dashboards, automation workflows, or decision-support tools.

Industry Experience

Transportation, logistics, or trucking experience is not required. We value analytical thinking, business acumen, and a willingness to learn more than industry-specific experience.
