ERP Business Analyst - Accounting / Finance

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ERP Business Analyst – SAP S/4HANA position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days/week).

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document current-state processes and future-state business requirements for ERP system upgrade
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to define features, refine solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives across the organization
• Develop detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, breaking down features into actionable tasks ready for development within Agile sprints
• Model and design future-state business processes aligned with S/4HANA capabilities and industry best practices to support digital transformation goals
• Create comprehensive test cases and test scripts, collaborating with QA teams to execute end-to-end testing across integrated systems
• Actively facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to drive team alignment and delivery
• Identify and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and process gaps to stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and project success
• Track progress of deliverables against milestones, ensuring work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards
• Manage post-implementation feedback and enhancements by gathering user input and refining system capabilities with stakeholders
• Validate system outputs and deliverables against defined business requirements to ensure solutions are defect-free and meet quality standards

What You'll Need to Have:

• 4+ years of Business Analysis experience in software development, ERP implementation, or digital product enhancement environments with hands-on requirements documentation
• Strong experience with SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, or PCA; exposure to SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred
• 1+ year of practical experience working within Agile teams using Scrum, SAFe, or similar frameworks
• Proven ability to create detailed process flows, user stories, test cases, and test scripts that drive development and quality assurance efforts
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred; accounting and finance domain expertise is a significant advantage
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying and resolving complex business challenges
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps and Miro

Pay Range: $42-52/hr
