Please note that this position can be based in San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office an average of 3 days per week.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A, the Senior Manager, FP&A will serve as the primary finance business partner for the corporate finance and G&A organization and play a key role in supporting Acadia’s growth. This position is responsible for delivering financial reporting and analysis, effectively communicating performance insights, leading recurring planning processes, maintaining and enhancing financial planning systems, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support informed business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Education/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or other related field, MBA preferred. Targeting 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in a financial planning and analysis role or other finance area, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. An equivalent combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered.

• Proficiency with NetSuite, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, SmartView, or similar planning and reporting tools, including hierarchy management and system troubleshooting.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while meeting tight deadlines.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong presentation skills.

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence business partners.

• Adaptable and effective in a dynamic, high-growth environment, with a positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

Scope: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of functional area objectives and their impact on, and interaction with, other functions within the organization. Erroneous decisions will have a serious impact on the overall success of functional, or company operations.
