Position Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A is responsible for supporting company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. This role serves as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams and leadership by analyzing company performance, enhancing financial transparency, and providing insights that help inform business decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains, measures, and reports on key performance indicators to assess channel performance, spend, return on investment, and broader business trends.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to build, manage, and monitor monthly and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning tools.
- Conducts weekly and monthly variance analysis on key funnel metrics and financial results to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Builds and maintains financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve visibility into business performance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepares and delivers presentations and analysis for business partners and leadership, highlighting financial trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Responds to ad-hoc financial analysis requests and supports additional finance initiatives or duties as assigned.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, strategic or marketing finance, analytics, or a related field
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience building financial models.
- Experience using Tableau or similar data analysis and visualization tools.
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, accountable, and comfortable working with a roll up your sleeves mentality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Knowledge of Tableau.
- Knowledge of NetSuite.
- Experience in a public company, investment banking, or private equity environment.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
Travel Requirements:
Less than 10% domestic travel required
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
Additional and non-standard hours may be required (exempt).
