Senior Accountant

HornBill has a client in search of a Senior Accountant in Palm Bay, Florida (FL). Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory, fixed assets, prepaids and accruals accounting cycle. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for preparation of journal entries and account variance analysis. Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Inventory, fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals monthly reconciliations
• Responsible for interface transaction review and adjustments
• Responsible for preparation of journal entries and account variance analysis
• Assist management with budgets, deliverables to Corporate and external auditors on a quarterly and annual basis
• All other duties as assigned

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline from an accredited college or university or a combination of education and experience
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Accurate and consistent in work habits and able to follow written and oral instructions
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in Excel and accounting/financial computer software
• Good communication skills
