Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $40/hr. On W2
Job Description:

The Pricing Specialist is part of the Advanced Polymer Solutions Supply Chain Team. The role is responsible for the pricing of invoices for sales contracts and orders. Responsibilities also include pricing of purchase contracts and obtaining the appropriate DOA signatures to process purchases for payment. The Pricing Specialist will also handle Intercompany and Interdivisional pricing, and coordinate chargeback resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage customer pricing-related issues and provide effective, timely resolutions.
Formulates reports and analyzes information to supply the Business the data required to develop factors in formula pricing calculations and competitive pricing discussions with customers.
Participates in monthly price changes involving calculating and updating customer price files based on changes in relevant commodity market prices.
Documents contract pricing information into analytical tools for reporting.
Calculate customer formula pricing information, ensure accuracy, and communicate to business.
Manage prices in pricing tool.
Assures invoice accuracy, monitors metrics and supports efforts to maintain/enhance operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction.
Responsible for effective implementation of mass price updates by incorporating price protection, where applicable, to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with the business and credit to investigate and resolve chargebacks. Determine root causes, identify trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Communicates and enforces business rules through interaction with all levels.
Researches, coordinates and provides pricing knowledge and expertise to respond to Accounting, Internal and External Control audit compliance.

Min. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Management, Economics, Accounting/Finance or related degree from an accredited university.
8+ years related experience required in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have strong computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Leverage advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, reporting, and macros, to analyze data, identify trends, and support pricing decisions.
Demonstrate complex problem resolution proficiency and capability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
Be able to effectively communicate critical pricing information to all levels of the organization.
Seeks out and is open to knowledge, ideas, and feedback to improve effectiveness.
