Pricing Analyst

Drive Strategy Through Data

Autocar Parts is seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategy, improve profitability, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence pricing decisions that impact revenue, margin performance, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pricing, margin, and revenue leakage analyses to identify opportunities that improve sales performance and profitability.
• Support pricing initiatives including list price development, customer-specific discount structures, and product conversion opportunities.
• Partner with the Pricing Manager to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives.
• Analyze pricing data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve complex pricing inquiries and discrepancies.
• Utilize competitive market intelligence to develop price-to-win recommendations.
• Provide deal analysis and pricing support for Sales leadership.
• Support the execution and monitoring of pricing adjustments to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of pricing tools, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a scientific field.
• Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate complex data.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner across departments.
