Plant Controller

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end financial close and prepare financial statements.
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and GL accuracy.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Analyze gross margin, EBITDA, working capital, and variances.
• Manage inventory costing, PPV, standard costing, and physical inventory.
• Oversee fixed assets, capital expenditures, and leases.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Leadership on financial performance.
• Track key KPIs including labor efficiency, productivity, inventory turns, and working capital.
• Support audits and tax activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience with inventory, cost accounting, and operational finance.
• Strong Excel/Office and ERP skills; Microsoft Business Central is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
