Payroll Manager

HornBill has a client seeking a Payroll Manager with a strong knowledge of payroll functions in Waltham, Massachusetts (MA). The position will have responsibility for biweekly payrolls for both hourly and salaried employees with approximately 1,000 employees. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of a biweekly, multi-state payroll for salary and hourly employees
• Ensure all new hires and payroll related changes are properly accounted for within the payroll system
• Manage payroll team to ensure timesheets are processed thoroughly and timely through time and attendance software
• Act as primary Equity plan administrator and serve as ESPP administrator
• Review and circulate monthly and quarterly reports from payroll system as well as create ad hoc reports as needed

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a strong plus
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with multi-state payroll
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or PayExpert or equivalent required
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Working knowledge of relevant federal and state wage and hour laws
