The Opportunity: Payroll Coordinator I

The main objective of this position is to perform a variety of support tasks associated with payroll operations, including processing wage and salary payments, auditing time entries, and scheduling garnishment payments.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and brings a developing knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. They possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and exhibit strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication abilities and shows a strong capacity to quickly develop proficiency in payroll and time and attendance systems to effectively support operational needs. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate’s degree in related field preferred. 

Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials

Valid driver’s license; Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Work Experience

One year of relevant experience required.
