Responsible for accurate and compliant payroll processing in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Audit HR documents such as personnel actions and benefit changes
- Review direct deposit, tax forms, and payroll data
- Validate payroll system entries (e.g., PeopleSoft)
- Calculate retroactive payments and payroll adjustments
- Perform audits and verification checks
- Generate reports and payroll queries
- Support statistical and compliance reporting
